Due to the extreme heat over the last week and the lack of precipitation the front field at Pileggi Park will be closed effective immediately and will remain closed until July 12th.
At that time the conditions of the field will be reevaluated and a determination will be made about the playability of the surface.
This decision was made after consultation with Upper Moreland Parks & Recreation deemed the best course of action to help preserve the turf.
Coaches who have practices normally scheduled for the front field should look for time on either the back field or open space in Upper Moreland parks.
